Hello, Laurie and I get out when we can to camp. Moved around a bit (Milwaukee, Florida, back to Illiniois) but have put our roots down her ein Savanna, IL. We are a few miles for the Mississippi Palicades that has some amazing views of the Mighty Miss.…We try to hit all the meetups we can. We normaly have our dog Cam with us as well.

Hi Steve, I’m very happy you’ve joined!

I haven’t been up there but YET, but I’m from New Orleans and know how lovely (and powerful) the Mississippi can be.

I’m looking forward to more of your posts and seeing how you handle the dog while camping. I have a great dane/bull mastiff, and though he’s on the small side, I’ve yet to figure out a good way to leave him at camp and step out for a bit. It’s never been a problem as he comes with us, but it’d be nice.
