Spent some time over New Years with an old friend at the Salton Sea, New Camp campground. He slept in the back of his Subaru Outback, and my dog and were in the Rangerunner. We managed to avoid most of the rain that was drenching southern California just North of us. New Camp has a few sites with electrical hookups. We were in site #38, without hookups. It was a nice site, but a large tree shaded my solar panel for most of the day so it is hard to recommend if you are relying on solar.
