New Members: Please help spread the word about the new Runaway Camper forum.
This is my next project to knock out but I’d love to see everyone’s setup.
My Rangerunner is a 2019 wood-sided model. I ordered two extra front shelves from Runaway, which I installed myself, one mounted about 20″ off the the floor on the front wall and one high up on the back wall. I built up some cabinetry on the front wall using particle board salvaged from a discarded child’s storage bed frame and some luan plywood scraps I had lying around, covered in charcoal gray speaker cabinet felt that fairly closely matches the product that Runway used.
If I were to do it over again, I might use HDPE panels (aka “marine board”) instead of the wood product and carpet. Many campervan builds use T‑slot aluminum extrusion and HDPE panels for cabinetry. It is pretty expensive, though.
