Waiting for my RangeRunner. Do you use a sway bar? Interested in the pros and cons.

Most likely this is not needed. The weight of these campers is fairly low. However, be mindful of the weight distribution.

I have a very heavy rear hitch system, heavier than most and I’m still ok going up to 70 mph. Faster than that I might have issues if my weight is off.

You’ll probably be fine without a sway bar.

I’m new to towing, and in fact have not yet towed because I’m still waiting for the Runaway call. But, my cousin highly recommended a sway bar, and when I had the hitch installed on my Honda CRV, the hitch installer also recommends one. He said that when I get the camper, he’ll install the sway bar for about $80. I figure it can’t hurt. I’m just going to do it.
